I’m a fun loving follower of Jesus who can’t get over God’s amazing grace. I enjoy my family and I’m a loyal friend. I like to read, write, golf, and sip on premium ale. My wife (Debbie) is my closest friend. We’ve been blessed with 34 years of marriage, six kids, and five grandkids. Together we try to pursue the way of Jesus alongside His people and partner with Him to point others to Him.

My wife, Stacie, and I moved to Boise from Austin, TX in 2014. I am a Pacific Northwest native and my family loves Boise! With three kids (Knox, Isla and August) we take advantage of Idaho’s beauty and ease of getting into nature. I have a penchant (ahem addiction) for old Volkswagens and shuttling the family into the woods in our VW camper. After studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Idaho and living in Scotland while studying for an MBA at the University of Edinburgh, God opened my eyes to the lack of theological awareness around the intersection of faith and work in the business world. I am passionate about bearing God’s image in the marketplace, using commerce as a means for redemption and restoration. We feel blessed to call City Church home and look forward to helping our community grow in grace and truth.

Our story began about 20 years ago when Ingrid and her family immigrated to Idaho from Argentina as I was finishing up a four year commitment to the US Army up in Alaska. Ingrid and I met while I was studying to get my Electrical Engineering degree at Boise State University and twenty amazing years later, we are now the proud parents of three precious teenagers! We have a love for life and enjoy movies, making fun of our dog Sadie, hiking, traveling and spending time outdoors. We are proud to call City Church Boise our home and consider it pure joy to serve this particular expression of the Church for Christ’s glory and our good!

I am the product of Christian parents, a loving and optimistic father and a sensitive and fragile mom. God saw fit to make me his child about the same time I became a husband to Diane, 29 years ago. We’ve been parents for 26 years and became grandparents this year! I have lived almost half my life now as a believer and if God wants to use me to love on more of his family, I’m excited.

I’m a wife to a handsome man named Caleb and mom to a sweet girl named Rosie. I’m a proud Vandal whose been given incredible opportunities to love families and children in Boise through developmental therapy, teaching, and various ministries. Caleb and I spend our free time baking cookies, playing intense board games, or pretending to be movie critics. We LOVE the City Church community, as God has shown us so much of who He is and how He loves us through the people here.

My wonderful wife (Katie) and I moved to Boise from Bozeman, Montana in 2015. Since moving, God has created a special place in our hearts for the community at City Church. I am constantly inspired by how God is using this body to advance His kingdom. I enjoy hiking, fishing, hunting and most things outdoors. I also have a passion for engaging culture through music and other creative outlets. I am humbled to be a part of this team and excited to see what God has in-store.

My husband, Peter, and I moved to Boise in 2016. Shortly after moving here we found City Church, which quickly became a rich source of community to us. We welcomed our first daughter, Brooklynn, into the world in 2018, and she has brought abundant joy into our lives! I have always been very passionate about working with children and I previously worked as an elementary educator. Sharing the love of Christ and working with children is truly the beat of my heart.

I was born in Boise, 22 years ago, to what some may call a large family of six kids. God captured me by His grace when I was 17. From there on, I studied God’s word for two years at Eternity Bible College and Calvary Chapel Bible College. My heart for loving and pouring into youth has only grown as I look back and see how greatly my youth leaders have impacted my life. I personally know the challenges of growing up in today’s society, and it is such a blessing to be able to grow alongside the youth at CityChurch and do life with them!

I grew up in a small town in northern Idaho. I moved to Boise in 2005 to attend Boise Bible college where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Christian Education. I love the city of Boise as well and being a part of such an amazing body of believers here at City Church. I love everything outdoors! Whether it is hiking, camping, or rock climbing. I am excited to see how God is going to use our community to be a light in this great city!

I am a Boise transplant as of 2014, hailing from the great city of Seattle. My wife, Valerie, and I moved to Boise in order be closer to family as well as to seek out a stronger Christian community, which we found at City Church. We have a son, Nathan, who brings us great joy and is full of excitement and energy. When not wrangling my little one I enjoy fly fishing, wood working, tinkering, and many other hobbies including pretty much any outdoor activity. My wife and I have traveled the globe and are always looking for someplace new to explore. It’s great to be part of City Church and I am thrilled to work together with the community to further God’s kingdom in and around our city

I have been married to Jacob for 18 years. We have three delightful kids: Marshall, Samara, and Gabe. We love road trips and exploring national parks or hiking to waterfalls. When I have a quiet moment, I enjoy reading nonfiction and baking… OR reading and eating, “two pleasures that combine admirably.” (C.S. Lewis) — I consider ministry to children as the Lord’s calling on my life. It is a great privilege teaching kids about Jesus.
